Julie is originally from Ohio. She previously lived in South Carolina and moved to Southwest Florida in 1994. Julie graduated from West Liberty University in West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been a practicing Registered Dental Hygienist since 1989 and currently has licenses in three states including Ohio, South Carolina and Florida.
With over 28 years of experience, Julie has had a variety of opportunities with her dental hygiene career including general dentistry, pediatric, orthodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery. She has extensive experience working with geriatric and physically compromised patients. Julie also enjoyed the opportunity of being a Clinical Instructor for The Edison College of Dental Hygiene providing education, instruction, and guidance to new hygienists. She believes in keeping abreast of new technology and products that are in our market today. Her combined career experiences and education have taught her the importance of individually personalizing patient care to help them achieve and maintain their optimal dental health.
In her spare time she loves traveling, boating, playing tennis, yoga and most of all spending time with her family and friends!
Cristina brings a friendly smile while offering comprehensive oral hygiene care. Originally from Panama, she enjoys building relationships with her patients in both English and Spanish. Cristina graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida in 2012, and earned her Dental Hygiene License at the Hillsborough College of Dental Hygiene in 2017. She is certified in Local Anesthesia and is always searching for innovations in dentistry to enhance your appointment experience.
As a core member of the Bonita Beach Dental Team, Cristina proves her innate ability to put people at ease while providing exceptional care. Whether greeting you at your first patient experience or as a returning patient in her chair, she is sure to make you feel cared for as part of the Bonita Beach Dental family.
Cristina met her husband, Dr. Grady Scott, in 2012 while studying at the University of Florida. Sharing a mutual love of dentistry, they got married in 2017. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling together and especially spending time on the water with their golden retriever, Pablo. She also enjoys learning new recipes, practicing yoga, and playing volleyball.
