Best solution to remove stains:

In this article, we will tell you about some easy to-do at home tips if you want a perfect white smile:

1: Oil pulling:

Using oil for oral hygiene and to eliminate toxins from the body is a very old remedy. This method involves swirling oil in the mouth which removes bacteria that turns into plaque and gets your teeth stained.

Coconut oil is recommended for this practice because it has a very good taste and provides many other health benefits. It contains lauric acid that has the ability to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation. For oil pulling, you can take one spoon of oil and push and pull it through your teeth for 15 minutes. It is not harmful to yourhealth in any way so you can try it at home.

Sesame oil also works for cleaning teeth.

2: Brush with baking soda:

Baking soda can whiten your teeth as it has natural whitening properties. It is also used in the making of many types of toothpaste to serve the same purpose. Baking soda is mildly abrasive which can work to scrub away  stubborn stains on teeth. Also, it creates an alkaline environment inside the mouth that protects it frombacterial growth. Baking soda doesn’t show the result instantly. You have to be patient for the results. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with a few drops of water to make a paste and apply this paste to your teeth with the help of a toothbrush. Try this remedy thrice a week and you will see a difference soon.

3: Hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide acts as a bleaching agent for teeth and it also kills bacteria inside the mouth. People use this to disinfect wounds due to its ability of killing bacteria. It is also very effective in removing stains from teeth. Mix a small quantity of hydrogen peroxide with either water or baking soda to use it. Excess use of this paste is not recommended as it can erode the tooth enamel.

4: Use apple cider vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is a very effective ingredient for cleaning. Acetic acid found in it kills bacteria effectively. The anti-bacterial quality makes it useful in whitening your teeth and cleaning the mouth. It also has the ability to remove the enamel on the teeth that is why you should not apply it on daily basis. Use it like a mouthwash, and wash your mouth with plain water afterwards.

5: Use fruits for brushing teeth:

You can use fruits which have properties to remove the stains from teeth.

  •   Strawberry: crushing strawberry with baking soda will make a paste that is effective to clean your teeth and make them whiter. Malic acid in strawberries will remove the discoloration on teeth and baking soda can vanish the stains.
  •   Pineapple: An enzyme bromelain is found in pineapple which is added in toothpastes for removal of stains.

You can also rub fruit peels of orange or banana to get whiter teeth.
